U.S. Military contracted clip-fed semi automatic service rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, circa 1954. Features a blued finish, 24" barrel marked LMR 2-55, flash hider, winged front sight, adjustable rear aperture sight, bayonet lug, green canvas sling, SA marked bolt, checkered metal trapdoor buttplate, plain walnut handguard and shoulder stock with Crossed Cannons, "P", "G.H.D.", and Department of Defense Acceptance cartouche. Rifle retains 92% finish with light even wear and few spots of heavy wear. Action is strong, bore is excellent, and wood stocks are fine.
